In July we spent time as a family checking out Uncle Robert's new House.
Hoku had just gotten into her "everything is a phone" phase.
Of course we ate lots of yummy food.
My favorite was the fern salad Kai made.
Olena and Ana loved playing in the yard and inside Robert's giant house with Hoku.
I made 4th of July Bows for Hoku and her cousins.
They are so cute together.
I also made a special 4th of July dress just for Hoku. I love how her dress is so girly and her bow looks like a firecracker.
Hoku and the girls also got to meet some second Cousins who live in Hilo.
Hoku loved looking out the large picture window in the bedroom. He would yell to the neighbor dogs and Robert's dog outside. Grandma Joelyn made Robert some really nice Hawaiian Print pillow cases and do you recognize the quilt?
We had lots of fun going to Richardson Beach Park, although the water was really cold. A freshwater spring pours bubbles up into the lagoon making the water extra cold. I loved how the water was shallow enough for Hoku to walk in it.
We also got to swim with some big sea turtles who freaked us girls out.
We had tons of fun playing in the Sand.
And playing with sticks of course. Cuz sticks are the funnest.
We spent most of our time at Robert's House.
And took lots of long drives around the big island.
We went out to South Point. Which is the southern most point in the US.
My favorite thing about our trip was being able to spend it with family.
We are so excited for Robert and his new House.
