2011

I can't believe its ACTUALLY 2012! I remember when they announced that the Winter Olympics was going to be in Utah in 2002 and I couldn't believe that somewhere on that future date I would be 22! I couldn't help but think what my life would be like in the 2000's as it was SO HARD to imagine NOT being a teenager. What would I be doing?

10 years later, I'm coming up on my 32nd Birthday, just celebrated by 9th Anniversary with love of my life and still feel like I'm just starting out in the "real" "adult" world. Most of the time I still feel like the awkward 16 year old who kinda thinks they got things figured out only to find out how little I actually know. I am so grateful for life's experiences that I've grown so much from.....I am definitely NOT the same person and I like the me today a lot better.

I am not that great on keeping New Year's Resolutions. I love making lists of things to do but don't always follow through. As I reflect on what was happened in my life in 2011 I realize that I've done a lot. Here are some of the accomplishments I've achieved in 2011.

- Complete the Great Aloha Run AGAIN! but this time with my hubby.

- Completed a weight loss challenge with my co workers- didn't loose as much as I wanted but lost inches and some pounds! Yay Me!

- Got to visit my sister and my niece and nephew(s) TWICE! Loved every minute! One trip I got to be there as she recovered from having her 3rd child. It was WONDERFUL to be in a house with a new precious baby.

-Performed LOTS of service for the sisters in the Ward, including an activity I organized to completely overhaul, organize  and clean a 1 bedroom apartment for a family in need in our ward. We accomplished the task in ONE Saturday! The home-make-over shows make it look so easy but lots of ward members' help made it happen.

- I got to see Scotty be a judge in the Miss Teen Hawaii Pageant - something I NEVER thought would ever happen......it was fun.

- I found out I have sleep apnea and have enjoyed getting much healthier sleep since being treated.

- I've DEFINITELY exercised a LOT more than usual this year. I didn't create a daily habit but I'm happy to report I am a TON more active and have inspired lots of friends and coworkers to get moving too.
- Got to go to the midnight Premiere of Breaking Dawn part 1!!!

This next year- I want to:
-  work on enjoying the small things in life and not get so caught up in checking things off my list.

- get more comfortable with working with kids as I serve in the primary

- memorize the 13 articles of faith

- sing in our ward choir and learn more children's hymns

- enjoy the process of exercising for my health.

2012 I'm on my way!
