Scotty got Hoku to calm down one day by watching Wallace and Gromit the Brittish claymation series which lead to watching Shaun the Sheep, which uncovered her fascination with Timmy Time!
Did you know there is acutally a YouTube loop that someone made with 10 hours of the timmy time song strung over and over? I got through about the 4th time and was ready to bang my head against the wall....feel sorry for whoever needed that, and what about that poor kid who listened to it?
Anyway....
When ever we turn it on for her she kicks her legs and gives the biggest smile.
I LOVE animation and I am enthralled with this sweet High Definition series, but I don't know if I'll ever quite understand why she loves it so much. I think it's because the animals don't talk, they just make animal noises.
Rest Assured: she was being "supervised" while sitting in her bumbo on the kitchen table.
You can see my bread dough for rolls rising in the back ground amidst my messy kitchen.
They went perfectly with our scrumptious Shepard's Pie. (A perk of being married to a return missionary who served in Ireland)
Speaking of food: Hoku's also been loving learning to eat baby food. She didn't like green beans so much but peaches and apple sauce were quick favorites. I can't help but love her sticky cuteness.
Daddy had an overnight business trip to Maui Thursday night, his first time away form Hoku :o( ... and we finished out the week with a Saturday hike up Tantalus.
Hoku had her first ride on daddy's (sweaty) shoulders!
